When time in a Transitional Care Unit is recommended by your care team, the skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation services at Prairie Bluffs serve as a necessary link between hospital and home.

The TCU at Prairie Bluffs provides short-term medical care and therapy in a licensed nursing community. Our physicians, nurse practitioners, and speech, occupational, and physical therapists provide the highest quality care, specializing in cardio-pulmonary, orthopedic, and medical-surgical recovery. Our 16 quaint, upscale private suites in an atmosphere similar to a higher-end hotel feature individual bathrooms and showers for convenience and comfort.  A 24-hour, state-of-the-art call system ensures that our associates respond to all needs in a timely manner.
